Ever since its launch in 2019, Kingdom Camping RV has built a strong reputation in the American overland market. Many buyers consider its campers premium products, but thousands of loyal customers continue to support the brand. With more than 15,000 Facebook followers, Kingdom Camping RV has proven that quality and innovation attract serious adventure enthusiasts.
The company’s newest project, Simba, shows how much Kingdom values customer feedback. The team worked closely with existing owners to improve the design. As a result, Simba delivers more comfort, more capability, and more practical features for off-road travelers.
Simba Builds on the Success of the Adventure Pro Mini 2.0
Kingdom has not released every detail about Simba, but the available information already paints an exciting picture. The company designed Simba as the next evolution of the popular Adventure Pro Mini 2.0, one of its best-selling camper trailers.
The goal behind VR is simple. It adds features that many customers wanted while keeping the rugged performance that made the Adventure Pro Mini 2.0 so successful. Owners now get full standing room inside, along with a hard-sided pop-top roof that increases comfort without sacrificing durability.
Simba Offers More Space Without Losing Off-Road Capability
One of the biggest upgrades in rv is its larger body. The camper features a 10-foot cabin and stands about 7 feet tall. This extra height allows adults to stand comfortably inside, making daily camping much more enjoyable.
The wider body extends over the wheel wells, creating additional interior space. Few off-road camper manufacturers use this design, giving VR a unique appearance while maximizing usable room.
Simba Features a Hard-Sided Pop-Top for Serious Adventures
The hard-sided pop-top roof separates Simba from many lightweight campers. Kingdom built the roof with solid panels that can handle travel through bear country and other remote wilderness areas.
This design makes Simba a true off-grid adventure trailer. Campers gain extra sleeping space and interior comfort while maintaining excellent protection from wildlife and harsh weather.
Simba Uses Proven Off-Road Suspension
Kingdom equips Simba with the trusted Cruisemaster CRS2 suspension system. This trailing A-arm suspension combines springs with dual shock absorbers to deliver excellent control across rough terrain.
A DO35 off-road coupling completes the package. Together, these components allow VR to tackle challenging trails with confidence.
Kingdom estimates the trailer weight at approximately 3,500 pounds. Many midsize SUVs can tow VR, although some drivers may approach their vehicle’s limits. A pickup truck or a powerful off-road SUV provides the best towing experience.
Simba Uses Durable Construction
Like other Kingdom models, VR features an aluminum frame combined with insulated foam-core composite panels. This construction keeps the camper lightweight while providing excellent strength.
Kingdom has not confirmed whether VR qualifies as a true four-season camper. However, the company uses similar materials across several of its premium RV models, so expectations remain high.
Simba Packs Essential Equipment Into the Front Storage Area
The first official image of VR reveals two front storage towers positioned beside the spare tire. These storage compartments likely house many essential systems, including:
- 2,000W inverter
- 460Ah lithium battery system
- Truma Combi furnace
- Integrated hot water heater
- 35-gallon fresh water tank
- Outdoor shower
- Additional utility storage
This layout keeps heavy equipment outside the living space, allowing Simba to maintain a cleaner and more spacious interior.
Simba Prioritizes Off-Road Performance
Some people may question the front-end shape of Simba, especially when thinking about highway aerodynamics. However, Kingdom designed this camper for rugged backcountry travel rather than high-speed touring.
The short A-frame places Simba closer to the tow vehicle, improving maneuverability on difficult trails. Since off-road driving rarely involves high speeds, durability and clearance matter far more than aerodynamic efficiency.
Kingdom also notes that the current images show only a concept model. The final production version, expected during the summer of 2026, may include several design updates.
Simba Includes a Family-Friendly Interior
Kingdom has not revealed the complete interior layout of Simba, but the available specifications already sound impressive.
Inside, buyers can expect:
- Lightweight aluminum cabinetry
- Functional kitchenette
- Built-in cooktop
- Sink
- Refrigerator and freezer
- Comfortable sleeping areas
- Additional bunk space for children
- Full wet bath
- Foot-flush toilet
These features make VR suitable for couples, families, and serious overland travelers who spend extended time off the grid.
Simba Continues Kingdom’s Focus on Long-Term Quality
Kingdom has built a reputation for manufacturing durable campers that withstand years of demanding adventures. Based on the company’s previous models, Simba should continue that tradition.
The standard equipment list already looks extensive, and buyers will likely have access to optional upgrades and accessories for even greater customization.
Simba Price Reflects Premium Construction
Premium campers always attract discussion about price, and Simba is no exception.
Kingdom plans to introduce rv with a starting price of $52,500 (€46,200). Although the initial investment sits above many entry-level travel trailers, buyers receive a rugged off-road camper built with premium components, advanced suspension, durable construction, and modern camping technology.
For outdoor enthusiasts who want a camper designed for years of reliable adventure, VR aims to deliver lasting value rather than short-term savings.
